The first-ever game for Montini in the Chicago Catholic League’s Blue division sees the Broncos hosting the Mustangs for Homecoming. Montini’s offense has scored forty or more points in three of the first four games, while the defense has allowed a grand total of three points and forced 11 turnovers. The Broncos will be tested by a St. Rita team that has lost close games to Joliet Catholic, Richards, and Providence. Haynes leads the Mustangs with 237 rushing yards and a touchdown, while Stefanski has recorded 253 receiving yards on 14 catches. Starting quarterback Hayden Ekern left last week’s 12-7 loss against Providence and was replaced by sophomore Brian Johnson, who finished 8-for-11 with a touchdown. Defensively, Milton has recorded 22 total tackles through four games while defensive back Hugh Gorman leads the team with 33. Expect both teams to play a fast game, with good offensive pace and physical defense.

In lower-level action, the sophomore Broncos host the Mustangs at 5 PM on Friday, while the freshman team travels to St. Rita for a 9:30 AM kick-off on Saturday.
