After five straight home games to open the 2018 campaign, the Broncos hit the road for the first time this season for a Saturday afternoon game on the North Shore. Montini has scored 205 total points this season while allowing just 16, but the Broncos will be heavily tested by a Loyola team that has hit a stumbling block in the last three weeks, losing to both Mt. Carmel and Brother Rice while pulling out an overtime win against St. Ignatius. The Ramblers have had issues with both injuries and turnovers this season; Fallon returned to action last week after missing the previous four games with a shoulder issue, while Loyola has turned the ball over 12 times in the last four games. The Ramblers are still a very talented team despite their recent struggles, with a balanced offensive attack and a tough defense, and will give the Broncos their toughest test of the season so far.
In lower-level action, the sophomore Broncos play at Loyola at 11 AM Saturday, while the freshman team will host the Ramblers for a 5:30 PM kickoff Friday evening.
